Technical Issues Continue to Persist

meghan9436Yesterday, I went to my local Book-Off. It took some digging through boxes of cables, but I did eventually find two third party cables that appeared to be compatible with my iPad. I went to plug them in when I got home... and neither of them work. My original cable that is just hanging on by a thread was sufficient enough to charge my iPad. Although I only paid 220 yen for the cables, I'm still going to try to return them. No sense in paying for something that doesn't work. I previously returned a non functioning MD player years ago, and had no problems making the return.
But I got my iPad charged up and ready to go, and I realised that it doesn't support AirDrop. Then I realised that the iPad that I have is an iPad2, which is considered to be obsolete worldwide. So, I'm basically back at square 1 again. Lovely.
At least I can still play Doom on it! There's nothing quite like shooting monsters to a kick ass soundtrack to blow off some steam.
Edit: Despite the technical issues, my guitar progress has still been going strong in the background. Last night, I finally started putting in the time to practising the spider walk in earnest. I feel like the spider dropping by to visit on Halloween while I practising Misery was a sign.
I have shelved the traditional art and painting recently to focus on editing the Kariya video, as well as revisiting graphic design. It is hard to strike a balance with every creative outlet because there isn't enough time in a day.
